    When the earth rotates...

    Saturday, August 15, 2009

I was absent in my blog for a long time, I knew that. This is due to the earth, why???

When the earth rotates and spins around, millions of things happen. And because of things that happened, I wasn't able to spare a little time to update this pitiful blog. Haha..my time was mostly filled up by academic stuffs, report over report, assignment followed by assignment. This situation is going to last the whole semester. Or maybe 3 more years. It can be easily seen from how long I never the application named "Warcraft III" on my lappie's desktop. Haha..even time for War time for Dota also don't have.

By the way, I will be able to update and active in my blog for around 1 week. It's holiday!! I'm going back to hometown tomorrow due to some domestic affair. Like I've said, millions of things happen when the earth rotates. LOL. Enjoy your holiday everyone!!

    Pictures Attack

    Sunday, July 19, 2009

Look at the cake, it's Loong's birthday. Loong Ge means 'Abang Loong'. LOL

    ~there's 2 person MIA that night~
~Ohh! It was Kim and Zheng missing in the picture~

    ~Yummy Weekend~
We went to JB for Mala's birthday in 3 different cars on the last weekend. I didn't get the pictures at Mala's house. It was kinda huge 21st birthday celebration at her house. My friends had to wear Punjabi suit because they didn't bring formal clothes or at least long pants there. So lucky that I wore jeans there. Haha.
I like the birthday cake. It was a huge key shape cake symbolizing the key of freedom to her. They got food catering for the dinner that night. The Indian food was good, mutton, spicy chicken, nasi briyani, ohhh..making my hungry just thinking of it. At the next morning, Mala's mum prepared an Indian style breakfast for us, puri and tosai with few type of curries. It's a waste that her mum isn't selling her puri and tosai in Mamak stall. We all miss her mum's food.

On that Saturday noon, we went to Jusco near her house, Jusco Aeon Bukit Indah, it's the largest Jusco in South East Asia according to my friend.

~Sizzling Stone Grill in Jusco Aeon Bukit Indah~

~seafood tomyam mee hun on rock~
~it burns my tongue until I finished the food~

    ~Kinsahi in City Square JB~

~karaage ramen (forgot what's the name, but pretty sure it's karaage because it means chicken)~

~spider king ramen (the spider they mean is soft shell crab)~

    ~Alienated pictures of Liong & KC~

LOL. They failed to drag my face into the pictures, somehow I escaped when Liong was snapping the pictures

    Update?
I've been pretty free in the past two weeks but I didn't update.
WHY? It's the mood I guess. Don't feel like writing and don't know what to write as well.
In this post let's try to have a 'picture' of my 'new' room, 'new' block. The 'picture' doesn't mean that I've snap any pics of this room and the 'new' doesn't mean this block and room is a new building.

At the very first moment I saw my room, I dropped my jaw on the floor tiles and have to put my hand under my chin to prevent it from dropping. This room is indescribable, words like 'dirty, ugly, stinky, nasty, old, dusty, gross, etc etc' couldn't match it a little. HELL is the only word I could blurt out. When I was asked about my new room through sms, HELL is the only word I could type. I tried my best to clean the room, I got my body all wet with my sweat and dust yet I couldn't make it look like a human place, a room to stay. I failed. I gave up.

Moon was more and more visible while Sun was backing off. That was when I decided to not stay in that room that night. I decided to spend my night at a cheap motel which would never be any worse than this room. I will only come back to continue my cleaning mission in HELL.

Ohh ya! I promised to picture the HELL. The room was pathetically small, the floor is dirty, it was smelly, the position of the double-decker bed was far from the slow moving fan, the closets are rusty and filthy inside, the walls and ceiling are sickening, the mattress is black in colour, YES! IT'S BLACK! NOT YELLOW OR BROWN. It's the same with the pillow, BLACK! I would never lay my body on that BLACK THING no matter how many layers of bedsheets covered on it. 2 of my friends woke up itchy all over the body the next morning. I was so grateful with my decision to stay overnight outside.

The next day, I've made up a cleaning plan, which buying new mattress and wrapping papers were prioritized. New mattress was to be put on top of the black mattress and wrapping papers were used to cover the rusty parts of my closet and study desk. The remaining of the wrapping papers were used to cover my desk surface and the sickening wall (just in case I kiss the wall when I sleep and died the next morning due to poisoning). After whole day of hard work and with the help of my roommate, somehow we managed to change the position of the bed in that pathetically small room by breaking the bed into pieces and rebuilding it back.

At the end of the day, HELL finally smelt like a room and the look wasn't eyes aching anymore. At least that night I slept in comfort with a peaceful heart. I know that there are many people here having the same situation as me or maybe worse in this old block that was once occupied by PALAPES, team of reservation army in university.

The morale from this HELL room is that we human beings are always capable in making changes in the worst situation we would never imagined. There's always obstacles and situations that driving us to give up and run away, but that's how a loser would act. Always take that as a challenge and overcome it, never ever leave the scenario and allow it becomes worse. Someone who is precious to me is having a bad situation, that place sucks and the people there are terrifying. Making the best out of the worst situation is what we should do. You'll be alright, I assure you.
